2 hurt in QC warehouse fire


Two people were slightly injured after a fire gutted a warehouse and manufacturing facility in Novaliches, Quezon City on Monday.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire broke out at around 3:11 p.m. It reached the third alarm at 3:41 p.m. and escalated to the fourth alarm at 4:03 p.m. It was declared under control at 4:56 p.m. 

The injured victims were identified as Joseph Magalso and Kevin Asuelo, who both sustained lacerations due to the fire incident. 

At least three buildings in the complex were razed by the fire, according to a tweet from GMA Integrated News’ Raffy Tima. 

Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire. —Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA Integrated News
