Puppy hanging from bridge rescued in Sta. Mesa

A puppy who was tied and hanging from a bridge was rescued by authorities in Sta. Mesa, Manila.

According to a report on "24 Oras," barangay officers saved the dog after some witnesses reported its ordeal.

Video showed the puppy crying while it was hanging from the bridge and trying to gain a foothold.

The puppy's owner admitted that he was wrong and apologized. He said the puppy was his son's pet. —Sundy Locus/NB, GMA Integrated News
