Manila road closures for festival in Pandacan

The city government of Manila on Friday announced that several roads in Pandacan would be closed past midnight Saturday for the celebration of the Buling-Buling Festival.

Starting 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, the following roads will be affected:

• Stretch of Jesus Street from Quirino Avenue to Palumpong Street
• Stretch of Palumpong Street from Jesus Street to Beata Street
• Stretch of Beata Street from Jesus Street to T. Claudio Street
• Stretch of E. Zamora Street from Quirino Avenue to Hilum Street
• Stretch of ML. Carreon Street from T. Claudio Street to Pedro Gil Street

Motorists were advised to take the following alternate routes:

1. All vehicles intending to utilize the stretch of Jesus Street coming from Mabini Bridge (Nagtahan) shall go straight to Pres. Quirino Avenue to the point of destination.

2. All vehicles intending to utilize the stretch of E. Zamora Street coming from Pres. Quirino Avenue shall go straight to Mabini Bridge or left to P. Guazon Street to the point of destination.

3. All vehicles coming from Paco-Sta. Mesa Bridge/Interlink intending to utilize the stretch of Beata Street to Palumpong Street shall go straight to Pres. Quirino Avenue to the point of destination.
