One of victims in SUV crash into QC bank passes away —police
One of the victims in the crash of an SUV into a bank died early Friday morning, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said.
In an update, the QCPD said the bank client passed away in the hospital at around 12 a.m.
Five more individuals were hurt in the incident. Three of them including a client, a bank employee, and a security guard have already been discharged from the hospital.
Meanwhile, the remaining two including a bank employee and a client are still admitted at the hospital.
On Thursday afternoon, six persons were reported hurt after an SUV crashed into a bank in Quezon City.
The driver of the SUV and his wife were also clients of the bank. They were about to leave the bank when the crash happened.
The driver was taken into custody while the police continued to investigate.
In a statement, BDO said it is closely coordinating with the authorities regarding the incident at the bank's Novaliches - Lagro branch.
“The safety of customers and bank personnel are of utmost priority. The bank has provided medical attention to injured individuals and is committed to assisting them throughout their recovery journey,” it said.—Joviland Rita/AOL, GMA Integrated News
