Buko vendor stabs dead pal who teased him
A man died in Tondo, Manila after he was repeatedly stabbed by his friend, a buko vendor who got annoyed after he teased him for getting injured while cracking the buko shell.
(He was breaking a coconut shell when he hurt himself. The victim teased him but he got angry. That is when their misunderstanding started.)
(The victim has a lot of knife wounds but we suspect that the one on his back was fatal.)
The victim, Elorde Alcazaren, attempted to escape during their altercation, but the suspect, Jayson Macahilig, pulled a knife and stabbed him repeatedly. The victim was rushed to the hospital but he died.
Authorities arrested Macahilig and recovered from his possession the weapon he used in the incident. He was detained in the Manila Police Station and will undergo inquest proceedings for murder complaint.
(We had a fight. I apologize to his family. I regret what happened.) — Sundy Locus/LDF, GMA Integrated News
