Fire hits residential area in Manila

Fire broke out in a residential area in San Andres, Malate in Manila early morning on Friday, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.

The fire on Arellano Street corner G. Tuazon Street in Barangay 739 started at 5:36 a.m. and reached the third alarm at 6:15 a.m. 

At 7:54 a.m., the fire was declared out.

Thirteen firetrucks responded to the area, according to the BFP. —Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA Integrated News
