Quezon City fire kills 2

Two persons were killed in a fire incident in a house in Fairview, Quezon City, Unang Balita reported on Wednesday, citing the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Aside from the two killed, two others were also hurt in the incident.

The fire reportedly started past 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

A separate report by James Agustin on "Unang Balita" said the fire hit a two-storey house on Omega Avenue in Barangay Greater Fairview.

Four people were rescued from the fire, including the two who were reported hurt.

The fatalities, who were still unidentified, were one male and one female.

The fire, which is believed to have started from the first floor, only lasted for an hour, the report said. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
