Two Singaporean nationals were arrested after authorities seized over P76 million worth of suspected cocaine in an interdiction operation at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 in Pasay City on Thursday.

In an initial report, NAIA-Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group said the two arrested Singaporeans, aged 63 and 39, were inbound passengers from Doha, Qatar.

More or less 14,360 grams of white powdered substance suspected to be cocaine worth around P76,108,000 were seized from the two suspects at around 1 a.m., the task force said.

The suspected contraband were placed inside 341 pieces of pellets found inside four tin cans and two cylindrical containers. —Joviland Rita/KBK, GMA Integrated News
