Fire hits a warehouse in Barangay Catmon, Malabon
A fire hit a warehouse in Barangay Catmon, Malabon City late Monday evening, according to a report on "Saksi."
The fire started a few minutes before 10 p.m. and spread quickly in the storage space used for socks and towels.
The fire was raised to the third alarm, which means that about 30 fire trucks were needed.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) found it difficult to put the fire under control sooner because of the narrow roads and they ran out of water, according to a report by James Agustin on Unang Balita on Tuesday.
Finally, after eight hours, the fire was put out on Tuesday morning, according to a separate report on Unang Balita.
No one was hurt in the fire.
BFP-Malabon personnel are conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the fire. — BAP/KG, GMA Integrated News
