Fire hits residential area in Barangay Marcelo Green, Parañaque

A fire broke out in a residential area in Barangay Marcelo Green in Parañaque City before dawn on Saturday.

The fire started at 4 a.m. at the second floor bedroom of a two-storey house in Sitio Kawayanan, Gawad Kalinga, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Mao dela Cruz reported on Dobol B TV.

According to initial findings released by the BFP Parañaque, the fire began at the second story of the house and rapidly spread due to the light materials used in construction.

The fire reached the third alarm at around 5:11 in the morning.

The fire was under control at around 6:03 AM and was declared fire out by 6:57 AM.
