NAIA traveler from Ethiopia yields P18-million cocaine

Over P18 million worth of suspected cocaine was seized from a Filipino woman at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

According to a report on "24 Oras," the passenger arrived at the NAIA Terminal 3 at past 9 p.m. on Thursday.

The authorities noticed something suspicious in the luggage of the passenger.

More than three kilos of suspected cocaine were found inside her bag.

The  suspect said she didn't know there were drugs inside her luggage.

She said it came from a Filipino woman she met in Ethiopia and who offered a free trip home to the Philippines and P100,000 in exchange for her carrying the bag. —NB, GMA Integrated News
