DUE TO LOW BOOKING FEES

SONA protest: Lalamove drivers to hold 'strike booking' on Monday

Around 7,000 Lalamove drivers in the National Capital Region (NCR) will hold a “strike booking,” or will not accept bookings from users on July 24, the day of President Ferdinand Marcos' State of the Nation Address (SONA).

In a Super Radyo dzBB report by Bernadette Reyes, Lalamove drivers want to express their grievances over low booking fees and what they call unfair charges.

The drivers are also protesting the promos offered to users which they allegedly shouldered instead of the company.

Aside from those in Metro Manila, Lalamove drivers from other parts of the country including Batangas, Quezon, Laguna, Cebu, Davao are also expected to take part in the protest.

The Lalamove drivers appealed for solutions to their concerns.
