MRT3 implements provisional service from Shaw to Taft after passenger jumped onto tracks
The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) on Wednesday noon started implementing a provisionary service between Shaw Station and Taft Avenue Station.
In a series of tweets, Assistant Secretary and MRT3 officer-in-charge Jorjette B. Aquino said the provisionary service was implemented "after an unidentified female passenger allegedly jumped onto the southbound tracks of the Quezon Avenue Station at around 11:57 am."
"Incident is currently under investigation by the Station Supervisor," Aquino said.
A report by Allan Gatus on Super Radyo dzBB said the passenger has been brought to a nearby hospital.

Passengers of affected southbound train at Quezon Avenue Station were evacuated, Aquino said.
A separate report by Super Radyo dzBB's Glen Juego said MRT3's operations returned to normal at 1:20 p.m.

In a separate statement, Aquino said the unidentified female passenger was rescued by Lifeline Arrows ambulance service personnel at 12:54 p.m.
Aquino said the female passenger was found “alive and breathing.”
She was brought to East Avenue Medical Center, according to the MRT-3 OIC.
