Manila Water customers in 6 Antipolo barangays to go waterless March 28-29

Some Manila Water customers in six barangays in Antipolo City, Rizal will have temporary water service interruption on March 28 to 29, 2023, the company said in an advisory.

This is to give way to the repair of leaks at Langhaya Bridge along Marcos Highway in Barangay Inarawan, Manila Water said in a post on Facebook on Friday.

The company said 15,110 households in the following barangays will experience temporary water service interruption from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 28 to 7 a.m. on Wednesday, March 29:

• Dela Paz
• Bagong Nayon
• San Luis
• San Isidro
• San Juan
• Inarawan

Affected customers were advised to store enough water before the water service interruption.

Once the water service is restored, residents should allow the water to flush out from the taps first to clear any discoloration, the company advised.

"We advise the residents to collect the flushed water for cleaning purposes and flushing the toilet," Manila Water said.
