MPD cracks down on public shirtlessness, helmetless motorcyclists
The Manila Police District (MPD) cracked down on those who were shirtless in public and helmetless motorcyclists, Oscar Oida reported on “24 Oras” on Monday.
(We’re attending to minor violations like these because they exhibit the public’s discipline.)
Those who violated the prohibition against going “topless” in public were fined, the report said.
However, succeeding violations may result in the filing of charges for disobeying city ordinances.
Authorities, meanwhile, reminded motorcyclists to always wear their helmets.
(They should know that they need to wear helmets at all times. That is part of their examination for a driver’s license.) — Sundy Locus/DVM, GMA Integrated News
