Missing grandmother found shot to death in Tanay

The corpse of a grandmother who had been missing for month was found with a gunshot wound to the head in Rizal's Tanay town, according to a Saturday "24 Oras Weekend" report.

The body of Edilbertha Gomez, 79-years-old from Quezon City, was found along the Marilaque Highway.

Quezon City Police District Director Police Brigadier General Nicholas Torre III said that Gomez's family had identified the body, but it would still be DNA-tested.
