LTO to revoke license of SUV driver who caused multiple crash in Mandaluyong
The Land Transportation Office-Intelligence and Investigation Division (LTO-IID) has recommended revoking the license of the driver of the SUV that ran over 12 vehicles, causing injuries to 13 individuals in Mandaluyong City last January 10.
According to LTO- IID officer-in-charge Renan Melitante, Dominador Braga already gave a judicial affidavit and admitted that he was the one driving the SUV when the incident happened.
"Tinapos na namin ang imbestigasyon at maglalabas ang LTO ng desisyon base sa mga hawak na ebidensya bukod pa sa pag-amin na rin ng drayber," said Melitante.
(We have finished the investigation and the LTO will issue a decision based on the evidence besides the driver's admission.)
Braga is detained at the Mandaluyong City Police Custodial Center. His lawyer, Paul Nicodemes Roldan, represented him during the hearing at LTO on Monday.
Melitante further said that if the driver of the SUV is found guilty of reckless driving, the owner of the vehicle will also be liable for the same crime.—Sherylin Untalan/AOL, GMA Integrated News
