LPG tank explosion injures firefighter in Parañaque City fire
A firefighter who responded to a fire in Parañaque City got injured after an LPG tank exploded while the blaze was razing a residential area early Monday.
According to Jonathan Andal’s report on “24 Oras”, victim Roel Cipriano, 37, was on the roof of an affected house in Barangay San Dionisio when the tank exploded.
The explosion knocked Cipriano off the roof. His finger was broken and he had wounds on his face.
Members of the Hagonoy Taguig Volunteers said the blaze broke out at around 3 a.m. It lasted for four hours and reached the fifth alarm. Around 100 houses were affected.
Meanwhile, some fire victims are asking for help after they lost all their possessions.
“Walang-wala po talaga kaming nailigtas. Tulungan niyo po kami,” a resident said.
