Passengers crowd bus terminals for last-minute trips to provinces for Christmas

With Christmas Day just a few hours away, some bus terminals became crowded on Saturday morning as passengers tried to get last-minute trips to their hometown provinces.

In one bus terminal in Quezon City, the line of passengers hoping to get bus trips stretched and reached the road before 7 a.m., according to a report on News Live.

Most of the passengers were heading for Northern Luzon.

Dispatchers said the number of passengers increased this holiday season due to relaxed movement restrictions. —KG, GMA Integrated News
