Valenzuela City allows motorcycles in MacArthur Highway bike lane

Starting December 25, 2022, motorcycles will be allowed to use bike lanes in Valenzuela City, Unang Balita reported on Monday, citing the city government.

In an advisory, the local government said single motorcycles will be allowed in the designated bike lane along Macarthur Highway from Monday to Friday.

However, tricycles and pedicabs are still not allowed on the said highway.

In a video posted on Facebook, Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian said motorcycles using the designated bike lane must observe the 20kph maximum speed limit. —KBK, GMA Integrated News
