Customers make their way to Divisoria for early Christmas shopping
Shoppers started purchasing Christmas gifts in Divisoria, Manila, exactly one month before Christmas.
According to Mariz Umali's "24 Oras" report, customers had come from the provinces as they preferred to shop in Divisoria since it is cheaper and had more options.
According to the vendors, customers prefer to buy educational items and toys as gifts for children.
However, they said that the prices of some toys had increased, especially since the vendors are just recovering from the pandemic.
Toys can be bought for P70 to P3,800 but if you're on a budget, there are still stores that sell items for as low as P5.
