NCR malls hours set at 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on weekdays from mid-November to January


Mall hours in the National Capital Region will be adjusted to 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. during weekdays starting November 14, 2022 until January 6, 2023, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said Friday.

“Ang napagkasunduan na po ay starting November 14 up to January 6 the adjusted mall hours sa Metro Manila po ay from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the weekdays po,” MMDA spokesperson Mel Carunungan said at a public briefing.

(It was agreed upon that starting November 14 up to January 6, the adjusted mall hours in Metro Manila will be from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the weekdays.)

Carunungan said mall owners were advised to hold sales during weekends and inform the MMDA about such activities in order for the agency to help in traffic management.

Earlier, the MMDA said it expected 50,000 more vehicles on the road during the “ber” months.

Meanwhile, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has warned the public against usual crimes against property during the Christmas season such as robbery and theft.  —NB, GMA News
