Seven to 10 million expected at Manila North Cemetery over Undas 2022
More than a week before Undas, several families have started going to the Manila North Cemetery to clean the resting places of their loved ones.
According to a report on "24 Oras", staff expect more people to the cemetery over the Undas holidays this year.
Cemeteries were closed over Undas in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Dadami po talaga, magvo-volume po talaga tayo up to 7 to 10 million, hanggang November 2 po,” said Jana Pacencia, a cemetery staff.
The Manila International Airport, Authority (MIAA) is also preparing for the possible influx of passengers going home to their provinces this Undas season.
The MIAA reminded the public to follow health protocols and contact the airlines regarding entry requirements. —NB, GMA News
