SUV, ‘with siren and blinker’, hits LTO enforcer on EDSA Caloocan


A traffic enforcer of the Land Transportation Office was hurt after the driver of continued to move his SUV even as the LTO officer tried to stop him.

According to Ian Cruz's report on "24 Oras", LTO enforcer Butch Sebastian kept the SUV from going to a U-turn slot on EDSA Caloocan.

The SUV continued to move even if slowly and hit Sebastian. The enforcer said his left foot was run over by the motorist.

He said the SUV had a blinker and a siren, which are both regulated devices.

Another LTO enforcer went to assist and asked the driver to give his license. The driver refused.

The driver's license has been suspended for 90 days.

The enforcer is looking to file a criminal complaint against the driver on top of the administrative case before the LTO. —NB, GMA News
