100 families affected in QC fire — BFP-NCR
At least 100 families were affected in a fire that hit a residential area in Barangay Baesa, Quezon City, Monday morning.
The Bureau of Fire Protection-National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) said the fire on Pajo Street reached the first alarm at 9:56 a.m., was controlled at 11:16 a.m., and declared out at 12:43 p.m.
The BFP-NCR said no one was reported hurt in the blaze.
It said at least P500,000 worth of properties were damaged in the fire that burned 50 houses.
In a Twitter post, Super Radyo dzBB reporter Allan Gatus said the residents manually help fill a firetruck with water.
Meanwhile, arson investigators said the fire might have been caused by faulty electrical wiring in one of the bedrooms of a house where the fire originated from. —With a report from Mel Matthew Doctor/AOL/KG, GMA News
