Imelda, April Aguilar retain posts as Las Piñas mayor, vice mayor

The mother-and-daughter tandem of Imelda and April Aguilar has regained their posts as mayor and vice mayor of Las Piñas City in the recently concluded national and local elections.

Citing official count, GMA News' Eleksyon 2022 coverage reported on Tuesday that Imelda, who will serve his third and last term as mayor, got 108,644 votes.

On the other hand, April got 123,457 votes. She will serve her second term as vice mayor.

The two are set to be proclaimed at 10 a.m. on Tuesday.  —KBK, GMA News
