Keith Martin, singer-songwriter, found dead at QC condo

American singer-songwriter Keith Martin was found dead at his condominium unit in Quezon City on Friday.  

Initial investigation report showed that his neighbors early in the morning alerted the property manager about a foul smell on the sixth floor. 

Upon inspection with the help of barangay authorities, they traced the smell to Unit 6E of the condominium unit where Martin's lifeless body was found.

According to Police Lt. Colonel Cristine Tabdi of the Station 12 of the Quezon City Police District, the case has been turned over to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit for further investigation.

A story by GMA Network said several celebrities have expressed condolences at the death of the legendary balladeer.

R&B singer Kris Lawrence was saddened by the demise  of the singer who has been one of his inspirations in the industry.

Former Viva hot babe Sheree Bautista wrote "KITKIT RIP" to the singer with whom she had a recent collaboration with.

Singer-songwriter Thyro Alfaro said Martin imparted inspiring words after their gig which he would never forget.
