Four dead, 5 hurt in fire that hit residential area in Sta. Cruz, Manila
At least four residents died and five people were injured after fire broke out at a residential area in Sta. Cruz, Manila on Sunday morning.
Two of the victims were identified by midday — one is a 15-year-old, and the other one is a 21-year-old woman reportedly pregnant, according to a report by Divine Reyes on Super Radyo dzBB.
The fire was first reported at 9:45 a.m. at a house on M. Natividad Street corner Mayhaligue Street in Barangay 316.

The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) raised the second alarm at 9:48 a.m. as the fire quickly spread to neighbors' houses which were made of light materials.
The fire was put out at 10:26 a.m.
The BFP is still investigating the cause of the fire. —KG, GMA News
