Another grenade found within Manila Arena compound
Another grenade was found inside the compound of Manila Arena in Sta. Ana in Manila on Friday afternoon, according to a report on "State of the Nation."
Col. Orlando Mirando, Sta. Ana police station commander, said an investigation is underway to determine what time the grenade was thrown or planted at the site.
The grenade was discovered by a utility staff.
The cockfighting arena was closed but witnesses saw a vehicle in the area.
Earlier, a grenade was thrown at the Manila Arena on Thursday evening.
CCTV footage showed two men onboard a motorcycle passed by the compound. They stopped and one of them tossed a grenade.
The grenade did not explode.
The Manila Police District is checking if the incident is related to the missing men who were on their way to cockfighting venues. -- BAP/KG, GMA News
