3 inmates bolt Bilibid maximum security

Three inmates on Monday morning escaped from the maximum security compound of the New Bilibd Prison, according to Mao dela Cruz's report on Dobol B TV, citing Muntinlupa police.

Three jail guards and an inmate were hurt after the three inmates fired shots while escaping. The victims were brought to Ospital ng Muntinlupa for treatment.

The three inmates who escaped were identified as Pacifico Adlawan, who was convicted for frustrated homicide and a drug use; Arwin Bio, convicted for murder and attempted murder; and Drakilou Falcon, convicted for robbery with homicide.

An initial report from the Muntinlupa Police said the incident happened at 1:20 a..m. on Monday.

Personnel from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) are conducting follow-up operations to arrest the convicts. —KBK, GMA News
