Quirino Grandstand COVID-19 vaccination drive-thru to offer booster jabs
The drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination site at Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park will start offering booster shots on Thursday, January 13, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno said.
During his inspection of the vaccination site on Wednesday, Moreno told reporters that the service will be available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“Itong vaccination drive-thru dito sa Luneta, imbes na first dose, second dose, gagamitin natin siya ngayon sa booster vaccination drive-thru site,” he said.
(Instead of first and second doses, we will now use this drive-thru in Luneta for booster vaccinations.)
Vaccination cards must be presented to get the booster shot.
All four-wheel vehicles may avail the offer on a first come, first served basis. Only 300 vehicles with a maximum of five passengers will be accommodated per day.
The drive-thru vaccination for booster shots against COVID-19 may benefit up to 1,500 people daily.
In a statement, the Manila government said those who fail to make it to the first 300 vehicles will be given number stubs to secure a slot for the next day. — BM, GMA News
