Fire breaks out in Tondo before dawn

A fire broke out in Tondo, Manila before dawn on Sunday.

The fire, which started past 3 a.m., was said to have sparked from shanties along the Estero de Magdalena on Aguilar Street corner Masangkay Street, according to reports on Super Radyo dzBB by Rod Vega and Manny Vargas.

A warehouse building beside the estero was affected.

Residents said the warehouse contains products being sold online.

Five families living by the estero were affected.

Meanwhile, four families living in the warehouse building were also affected.

Firemen were already able to control the fire.
