3 injured after MRT3 coach hit by fire
Three women were injured after the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) train coach caught fire along Guadalupe station on EDSA on Saturday night.
In a statement, the MRT3 management said a fire incident had been reported along MRT3 Guadalupe station around 9:12 p.m. Authorities declared the fire out at 9:51 p.m.

“Minor injuries initially recorded were that of three ladies who sustained bruises in their legs after jumping off the train to the mainline tracks,” the management said on Twitter.
“The MRT3 management is currently exhausting all efforts to address the situation, putting into primary consideration the safety of the passengers.”
The management said provisional service is currently being implemented from the MRT3 North Avenue station to Shaw Boulevard station.
“No casualties and major injuries reported as of writing. A more detailed statement will be released by the management soon,” the management said. — VBL, GMA News
