Mandaluyong City Medical Center's COVID-19 ward reaches full capacity
Mandaluyong City Medical Center has reached its full capacity for COVID-19 patients, according to Mark Makalalad's report on Dobol B TV on Thursday.
Citing Dr. Cesar Tutaan, MMC administrator, the report said all of the hospital's 75 COVID-19 beds are now occupied.
Thirty-two occupants of the beds are confirmed COVID-19 patients while 42 are probable and suspected cases who are waiting for the results of their swab tests.
Of the 32 confirmed cases, 21 are unvaccinated against COVID-19.
Hospital officials said they are still accepting non-COVID patients especially pregnant women.
Tutaan said five healthcare workers in the hospital are in isolation after testing positive for COVID-19.
Based on data from Mandaluyong City government, 91 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in the city, bringing the total number of active cases to 897. —KBK, GMA News
