According to Nimfa Ravelo’s report on Super Radyo dzBB, Major Melvin Florida of the Parañaque Police said the suspects attempted to kidnap 23-year-old Yang Shang Yu at around 1 p.m.
Yu was approached by the suspects after he got off his Grab car at Barangay Tambo and initiated a conversation.
This devolved into an argument until the suspects attempted to carry the victim aboard a black Toyota Hiace with a plate number NZT5063.
The guards noticed the commotion and quickly called the police officers.
Police authorities were able to block the car and rescue the victim. The victim allegedly owned a debt amounting to P750,000.
Meanwhile, the suspects are now detained at the Parañaque Police Station 2, including Filipino driver Nelson Malavega. -Joahna Lei Casilao/MDM, GMA News
