Fire hits residential-commercial compound in Muntinlupa City

About 30 families were affected by the fire that hit a residential-commercial area in Barangay Alabang in Muntinlupa City early Saturday morning, Mao dela Cruz reported for Super Radyo DZBB.

The fire started around 3:33 a.m. and affected six houses and four commercial establishments.

Fire out was declared at 5:33 a.m.

The Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire started in the receiving area of the compound.

The cost of the damage to property reached about P250,000.

An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.

No one was injured in the fire that reached the second alarm. —BAP/KG, GMA News
