Fire hits store outside Starmall in Mandaluyong

Fire hit a store in Starmall shopping center located along Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City on Wednesday morning, according to an Unang Balita report.

Citing the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the report said the fire started past 6 a.m. and reached first alarm before it was put out.

A separate report by Bam Alegre said the store was located in the mall's parking lot that has been converted into a tiangge.

BFP received information of the incident at 6:42 a.m. Fire out was declared at 6:50 a.m.

Investigators are still determining the cause of the fire.
