Fire hits residential area in Pandacan
A fire broke out at a residential area on Jesus Extension Street, Pandacan, Manila on Saturday morning.
The fire started at 6:45 a.m., according to the Manila Fire Department.
As of 6:54 a.m., the fire has been raised to the second alarm, according to a report of Rod Vega on Dobol B TV.
Thick plumes of smoke could be seen from Otis, Manila as the fire affected five houses made of light materials.
The fire was put out at 7:30 a.m.
Fifteen families were affected. No one was hurt.

The Manila Fire Department said structural damage may cost P50,000.
Affected families temporarily sought refuge at relatives' houses, but the barangay said the small basketball court may also serve as temporary evacuation center. —Hana Bordey/KG, GMA News
