32 residents caught in Parañaque violating health protocols
Authorities caught 32 residents in Parañaque City violating health protocols, according to a 24 Oras News Alert on Saturday.
Eight minors were among those caught in Barangay San Dionisio.
The 32 were found to have no face mask and face shield.
Meanwhile, some stores caught still open during curfew were given tickets.
The violators were brought to the barangay plaza where they spent the rest of the curfew hours.
They were also made to pay a fine of P1,000 each.
Metro Manila started its unified curfew on Monday, March 15. Curfew is from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for two weeks. Medical practitioners are among those exempted from the curfew.
Minors or those below 18 years old are also prohibited to go outdoors in Metro Manila.
The strict measures were imposed amid a surge in the number of COVID-19 cases in the National Capital Region. —KG, GMA News
