Portion of Jose Abad Santos Street in QC placed under special concern lockdown

A portion of Jose Abad Santos Street in Sitio 5, Barangay Sta. Lucia in Quezon City has been placed under a special concern lockdown on Monday evening, GMA News' James Agustin reported.

The lockdown was implemented after 10 individuals at the site tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

At least 71 families in the barangay will be affected and required to undergo the RT-PCR test.

According to a report on 24 Oras, nine areas have already been placed under special concern lockdown in Quezon City.

From a daily average of 80 new cases in February, infections surged to 150 per day in March, the report added. -- BAP, GMA News
