Makati, Navotas secure AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines for residents
Just like other localities across the metro, the local governments of Makati and Navotas already secured some doses of COVID-19 vaccines for their constituents.
Makati City Mayor Abby Binay on Monday announced that a total of one million doses of AstraZeneca vaccines have been secured for the city's residents as well as non-resident property and business owners in the city.
Binay said the city government is also finalizing agreements with other vaccine manufacturers. She added that an information campaign would be launched to address the concerns of residents about the inoculation.
"Makati will launch an information campaign, together with medical experts on infectious diseases and vaccination, to ensure that all doubts, concerns and questions on the Covid-19 vaccine will be answered.

Meanwhile, Navotas City Mayor Toby Tiangco said at least 50,000 residents would initially be vaccinated after the local government inked a pact with AstraZeneca for the purchase of 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine.
