Delivery riders pranked in Las Piñas

Several online food delivery riders were scammed in Las Piñas City, according to Cedric Castillo’s report on “24 Oras” on Tuesday.

More than 10 delivery riders were swindled by a certain “Mark dela Cruz” who used a food delivery service application for the scheme.

Tapos maya-maya datingan po ‘yong mga delivery,” the uploader of the viral video said.

She added that the total bill of all the orders may have also reached P20,000.

Sabi ko, ‘nako, kuya, ‘wag,’” the uploader said.

The Department of Trade and Industry earlier urged victims of this modus to report the incident to the Philippine National Police.

Meanwhile, in June, a measure seeking to penalize individuals who will cancel their orders through food and grocery delivery service providers has been filed at the House of Representatives.
