Thick smoke envelopes LRT2 Santolan station; BFP personnel at site

Thick smoke is observed at the LRT-2 Santolan station early Thursday morning, according to the report of Mark Makalalad on Super Radyo's DZBB.

Personnel from the Bureau of Fire Protection have responded to the alarm as the origin of the thick smoke is yet to be determined.

It has been speculated that the fire could have come from faulty wiring but this has yet to be verified with authorities.

As of posting time, the station has been evacuated and firefighters are at the scene. -- BAP, GMA News
