New barangay schedule implemented in Pasig Mega Market

The Pasig City government will implement a new barangay schedule at Pasig Mega Market starting Tuesday, August 25.

Under the new schedule, residents of 15 barangays can enter the market per day except Monday, when the area will be closed for disinfection and cleaning.

"Ang pagpapatupad ng bagong Barangay Schedule ay alinsunod sa Executive Order no. 43, s. 2020," the Pasig City government said in a statement.

Residents were urged to bring IDs as proof of their residence.

The Pasig City government also reminded residents that social distancing will be strictly observed to avoid crowding.

"Magpapatupad ng mas istriktong social distancing measures sa Pasig Mega Market para maiwasan ang pagkukumpulan ng mga tao sa anumang parte ng palengke," it said. —KBK, GMA News
