Car thief Raymond Dominguez alive but infected with COVID-19
Convicted car theft group leader Raymond Dominguez is alive and remains at the New Bilibid Prison, but found positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
According to Tina Panganiban-Perez’s report on “24 Oras,” the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption earlier said it had information that Dominguez had succumbed to the illness.
He was placed at the isolation area of the prison after testing positive for the virus.
Dominguez was one of the leaders of the carnapping group named after him.
He is also the suspect behind the kidnapping and murder of used car dealer Venson Evangelista. Evangelista’s body was found burned by the group.
Meanwhile, Dominguez' mother declined to issue a statement.
