Luneta Park now partially open to public for limited time
A part of Luneta Park is open to public starting Wednesday, July 1, but only for jogging, walking, cycling, and tai chi, and for a limited time.
In a Facebook post, the National Park Development Committee said only the Promenade area is open for exercise from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. while the other areas remain closed.
The entrance and exit will be at the Rizal Park Visitor’s Center and Senior Citizen’s Garden, both in T.M. Kalaw street.
Guests are also required to fill out a health declaration form before they will be allowed to enter the area. There will be a thermal check and those with temperature above 37.5 C will not be allowed to enter.
Visitors should also wear face mask while inside the park and observe physical distancing. Gathering of more than 10 people will not be allowed.
Vendors are still not allowed inside the park.
In a Twitter post, SuperRadyo dzBB reporter Isa Avendaño-Umali showed some people are already at the park to exercise.
