Sta. Ana Hospital COVID-19 lab gets DOH accreditation
The Manila City government on Thursday announced that the COVID-19 testing laboratory at Sta. Ana Hospital has already been certified by the Department of Health.
According to the Manila Public Information Office’s Facebook post, the testing center will be able process about 200 swab tests per day to help the city government’s mass testing operations.
The validity of the hospital’s license to operate is from June 25 until December 31, 2020.
Sta. Ana Hospital, which is the second largest government-owned hospital in Manila, has a 300-bed capacity with 33 accredited isolation wards and its own infectious disease control center.
As of June 22, Manila has recorded a total of 2,019 cases of COVID-19 including 1,270 active cases, 120 deaths and 629 recoveries. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
