Fire hits residential area in Caloocan City

A fire broke out in a residential area in Block 29, Barangay 35, Maypajo in Caloocan City a few minutes after midnight, GMA News Online's Amita Legaspi reported.

The Bureau of Fire Protection - National Capital Region (BFP-NCR) reported that the fire started about 12:03 on Friday.

There were explosions heard in the area.

The BFP-NCR declared the fire under control by 12:50 a.m. and Superintendent Stephen Requina, Caloocan Chief Fire Marshal declared fire out by 1:11 a.m.  -- BAP, GMA News
