La Salle Green Hills to start accepting female senior high students

La Salle Green Hills, a Catholic school exclusive for boys since 1959, will now open its doors to female students for Senior High School (Grades 11-12) as they go co-educational in the coming school year.

The school's Facebook page shared an announcement letter from LSGH President, Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC, dated May 12 informing of the change as the institution transitions to an Integrated School for SY 2020-2021.

The school said the first 20 female applicants will be offered tuition subsidy.

Aside from this, LSGH has also introduced LSGH FLETCH or "Flexible Lasallian Education through Technology Collaboration at Home."

"Just like fletches, the LSGH flexible education through technology will provide our learners more than enough stabilization features to set their arrows straight to their targets," it said.

LSGH said classes will begin on July 20 in staggered schedules.

LSGH's move follows Ateneo de Manila High School, which started accepting female students in 2016 for the senior high school program. — Jannielyn Ann Bigtas/LA, GMA News
