44 Chinese arrested as authorities raid illegal POGO operation in Parañaque

Authorities arrested on Saturday 44 Chinese during a raid on an illegal Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) operation in Parañaque City.

The POGO operation was in a house, GMA News' Jonathan Andal said on Twitter.

Authorities also confiscated five firearms and P1.3 million in cash.

With Luzon under enhanced community quarantine due to the COVID-19 threat, POGOs are not allowed to operate.

The enhanced community quarantine will continue to be in effect until May 15 in Metro Manila. —KG, GMA News
